Welcome to the Chimera Website

Chimera are a four piece female fronted rock / pop covers band based around the Ipswich area. We play a wide range of music styles, with the emphasis on entertainment. No obscure tracks that no-one's ever heard of, and no ten minute guitar solos, unless Bob has forgotten again how to get back to the verse from the middle eight and is going round and round desperately looking for a way out.
   

With Nas on lead vocals, backed up by Lynn, the two girls are more than competent in covering a tremendous range of vocal styles from The Corrs to Black Sabbath.The music is provided by accomplished guitarist Bob, who in addition to some intricate rhythm play, is more than happy to fit 35 notes into any space that was intended to hold 8. Bass is courtesy of Barry, solid and dependable as a rock bass player should be, and drummer Lynn, who holds the whole lot together.
